Clean Inspired Recipes

I'm having so much fun trying out new recipes for Clean living. A few of my favorites so far....

My Morning Shake
3/4 c of Blueberries
Handful of Organic Coconut Flakes (no sugar added)
2 TBS. of Ground Flax Meal
Swish of Almond Milk
Swish of 100% Coconut Water
6 Ice Cubes
Blend till PERFECT :)

Healthy Tummy Filler
Bag of Brown Rice Pasta - Gluten and Preservative Free
1 1/2 Italian Squash
1 Yellow Squash
1/2 Sweet Yellow Onion
3 Boneless,Skinless Organic Chicken Breasts
Organic Chicken Broth
EVOO
Sea Salt
Fresh Garlic
Black Pepper

Cook Pasta according to packaging (usually takes around 16 min.)
Cut up chicken into bite sized pieces - set aside.
Dice Squash and finely chop onion.
Start 2 skillets on the stove. Warm first, then lightly coat in EVOO.
In one skillet - sautee onions first, then add squash and a little garlic to preference.
In second skillet - cook chicken thoroughly. Once done - add a splash of Chicken Broth and garlic for a little more flavor - simmer for a coupe of minutes, till Broth is absorbed.

Drain the pasta and rinse in cold water - return to pot.
Carefully fold Chicken and Vegetables into pasta.
Season with fresh black pepper and salt to taste.

Fill your belly! Makes 6 generous servings.
