Day 4 - Wide Awake

Today is Day 4 of my Clean program. I feel GREAT. Prior I went thru 4 days of what is called the Elimination phase, preparing for the program - eliminating sugars, starches, caffiene :( - and it really seemed to help transitioning into the program. While 8 days seems to be such a short time to notice changes - I'm sleeping like a baby...every night. I've even been waking up before the alarm goes off (and then shutting my eyes of course - because that would be crazy to actually get up!). I thought it would be harder than it has been - but it's really been great. Wonderful shakes for breakfast and dinner and a good Clean lunch.
*Special thanks to my sweet husband who has helped me be strong and been my guinea pig for Clean meals :) (He's actaully eating them for dinner before I eat them the next day for lunch)...and for not laughing at me for too long - after the food processor spit my cucumber and lemon soup all over myself and the kitchen. Apparently the appliance is not quite as big as I thought.

Day 1 - Surviving Temptation

OK, I'm not going to post on every day of my cleanse - but yesterday (day 1), I made it thru Candy's Monday Spaghetti Dinner and then sat there while everyone drooled over a fabulous Cinnabon recipe that Tanya did for dessert. I'm pretty sure that deserves a post :)
p.s. I will be looking forward to trying the Cinnabon dessert post cleanse - Tanya, need to get that recipe...

CLEAN


Ok - Today is day one in preparation for my CLEAN program.
To do: A list of things to ELIMINATE from my diet.
It's noon - I'm really craving anything other than what is on my OK list :) Headed to Sprouts for some coconut water and fresh fruit.
